Barbarians to play at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City will transform from a soccer stadium to a rugby pitch when the Denver Barbarians play the Chicago Lions on April 4 in the first rugby game at the $131 million facility.
Dick's, with a capacity of 18,086 seats, will be the largest venue to host a Rugby Super League match. Two matches will precede the Barbarians-Lions match at 4 p.m. Denver East meets Chaparral at 12:30 p.m., followed by the University of Colorado Rugby Club vs. the Barbarians Division II side at 2 p.m.
